How it works

From Search to Game Day

1. Search your area

Type your city or ZIP and pick a sport. We pull every league we can find — city rec, private orgs, bar leagues — into one list.

2. Compare what matters

Filter by price, skill level, schedule, and format. Solo? Most leagues take free agents and place you on a team.

3. Register with the league

Jump straight to the league's own sign-up. No middleman, no markup — we do discovery, you play the game.

Why LeagueFindr

Built by rec players, for rec players

We got tired of hunting through city sites, Facebook groups, and word-of-mouth to find a decent league.

So we built the guide we wished existed: every league in one place, with the details that actually decide it — price, skill level, schedule, and whether you can join without a full team.

What players are saying

Found a coed volleyball league ten minutes from my apartment in about a minute. I'd been digging through Facebook groups for weeks.
Sarah · Volleyball, Culver City
Signed up as a free agent, got drafted onto a team, and now Tuesday night kickball is the best part of my week.
Marcus · Kickball, Long Beach
The price and skill-level filters are everything. No more emailing three different leagues just to find out what it costs.
Jess · Pickleball, Pasadena

Let New Leagues Come To You

Registration windows open and close fast, and most fill before anyone thinks to look. Tell us what you play and where, and we'll email you when a matching league opens — so you hear about it while there are still spots.

Pick your sports, add your area, and we'll take it from there.

Pick at least one sport — an alert with no sport would match almost everything.

Good to Know

Do I need a full team to join a league?

Usually not. Most leagues accept individual "free agent" sign-ups and place you on a team — it's one of the best ways to meet people. Use the filters to find free-agent-friendly leagues.

How much does it cost to play?

Each league sets its own price — typically $50–150 per player for a season, or $10–20 for drop-in nights. Every listing shows the price up front, before you click through.

What if I haven't played since high school?

You're the target audience. Most rec leagues run casual and intermediate divisions, and listings show the skill level so you can pick a league at your speed.

Is LeagueFindr for kids' or youth leagues?

No — LeagueFindr is adults-only. Every league listed is an adult recreational league (18+), from casual co-ed nights to competitive divisions.

How does registration work?

LeagueFindr is the guide, not the gatekeeper: when you find your league, we send you straight to the league's own registration page. No extra fees, no middleman.
